WIV Wein International AG traces its roots back to the year 1675. What initially started as a family-owned vineyard has grown into an internationally successful group of companies with more than 3,500 employees and sales partners around the globe.
Our core business consists of the distribution of fine wine, sparkling wine, champagne, and spirits. The company is one of the pioneers in the German direct sales segment and has also set the trend in terms of globalisation; today, our companies and brands are represented in 13 countries over four continents. In addition to direct sales, WIV is also active in the wholesale and retail sector, as well as the trade fair construction and in the field of logistics. Exclusive products and services, personal advice, and special access to customers can be found in all divisions, and this is what makes WIV unique.
As a family-owned company, we pursue a strategy of long-term growth, which combines sustainable growth with a commitment to employees, society and the environment. In the 2016 business year, the WIV Group generated sales revenues of EUR 415 million.
